Health and Well-being

MANSI, with the support of Shree Maruti Jeevan Jyot Trust, organizes eye checkup camps (Netra Yagna) across villages in the Naswadi tribal talukas, providing free eye examinations, treatments, and surgeries to underserved communities. Since 2019, around 360 eye surgeries have been performed annually, and pediatric camps were introduced in 2021 to cater to younger patients. This year, MANSI expanded its efforts to include school-going children in Lakhpat taluka of Kutch, offering comprehensive eye care services such as examinations, drops, tailor-made spectacles, and surgeries as required.

Awareness Campaign

Agaria families, the salt pan workers of the Rann of Kutch, face harsh living conditions with limited access to education, health, and shelter. Their migratory lifestyle, which spans eight months, disrupts their children's schooling. To bridge this gap, MANSI has established two schools near the Kadol salt pan colonies, educating 65 children aged 5 to 14. These schools provide uniforms, benches, books, sports equipment, midday meals, and clean drinking water. The initiative also includes regular medical checkups and picnic tours, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for the children.

MANSI's five-acre complex reflects a commitment to sustainability and eco-conscious living. It features 1,200 neem and other trees, along with eco-friendly structures for offices, dormetories, schools, and recreational spaces. The campus includes water harvesting and recycling systems, ensuring efficient resource use. A kitchen garden provides fresh vegetables and fruits, promoting self-sufficiency and healthy living. MANSI's infrastructure not only supports its programs but also sets a benchmark for sustainable development.
