Education for Agaria Children
The salt pan workers known as Agaria working in salt pans of kadol Region in Ran of Kutch lives miserable and pathetic life. They are deprived of basic facilities of shelter, health and education. Agaria families with children stay at salt pan sights from October to June i.e. eight months. For rest of two months they move to their own village. During migration, their children do not have education. In the year MANSI started two schools near Agaria’s temporary hutment colonies in salt pan area. With help of two committed teachers, we are imparting education to 65 children from age 5yr to 14yr. We have provided; school uniforms benches, books, sport equipments, midday meal and drinking water facilities. In Addison we have arranged medical checkup and picnic tours for children.
